Amber’s Gift Guide - Teens
I love Christmas….
And as a Mum of four, there’s lots of gifts to organise and a wide range of ages (almost 18, 15, 10 and 7) to cover.
This Gift Guide is for Teens and is the first one this year. I plan to post a separate Guide for Kids and another one for Mums (ie. us).
Hopefully, there’s a gift on the list below that is a perfect match for your teen / niece / babysitter. I’ve linked to each item where there’s an underline.
Wishing you a happy holiday with your loved ones!

PS. You may be wondering why there’s no Mecca products on this list? I’ve found that teens know what they want from Mecca and generally receive Mecca gift cards from their relatives.
Bags & Cases
Large Tote - My eldest teen is going to university next year and needs a bag that will fit a lap top and other essentials. Her pick is this Tote in Tan (also comes in Black and is 50% off). This striped canvas tote is also chic (and currently 40% off).
Medium Tote - This Coach Tote in chalk is a good size for everyday use and the colour is gorgeous (currently 50% off).
Iphone & Earbud Case - Burga make earbud cases that co-ordinate with your Iphone. Choose your pattern.
Toiletry Bag - older teens follow Swedish influencer, Matilda Djerf. Naturally, they want her clothing and accessories brand, Djerf Avenue. This toiletry bag in “summer berries” is perfect. And there’s also PJ’s and sheet sets to match.
Clothing
Tank tops - Teens are choosy about their tank tops. Mine love the Heritage Ribbed version from Seed.
Day Wear - Dissh always has something that teens want. This linen dress is perfect for job interviews over summer. Likewise, this linen skirt from Nude Lucy works well with the tank tops above.
Party Dress - teenagers love a party and this metallic striped dress is sure to make Dad ask, ‘Are you really going out in that’? This disco ball dress is perfect for summer parties.
Gym - gym brands go in and out of flavour with teens. Current favourite is Dfyne. The coral colourway is fun.
Bikinis - there’s always bikinis under our Christmas Tree. Somer Swim continues to be popular and the sage green colour is gorgeous.
Hoodies & Sweats - worn by every teen, whenever possible. Mad Happy is an LA lifestyle brand that makes cool Hoodies. But there’s nothing cuter than this Snoopy Tennis Sweat Shirt (and it’s now 50% off).
Shoes
Sneakers - Teenagers love a new pair of kicks and Adidas Sambas are the ones they want right now.
Slides - that can be kicked off at the beach and left at friends houses are a necessity over summer. Alias Mae slides are the ones they want. For an economical alternative, these slides are cute too and come in three colours - bone, black and caramel. They’re from BigW but they don’t look it. I’ve got the caramel.
UGGs - always loved by Teens. Our pick is the pink.
Stocking Stuffers
Eyelash curlers are the most used household item at our place. I’m told there’s only one brand to buy - Lash Therapy.
Weleda Skin Food - a moisturiser endorsed by multiple influencers on TikTok. Even though it’s Tik Tok famous, it’s actually good. And it’s a steal compared to the moisturisers at Mecca.
Sundae Body Whip Cream - a cute stocking stuffer especially for younger teens.
Ariana Grande’s Pod Perfume in vanilla is so popular the elves will be working overtime to produce it. It’s on the list of Miss 15.
Miss Dior is always on the Christmas List for Miss 18.
Jewellery
Now that I have an (almost) 18 year old, real jewellery is on the top of her wish list. Australian jeweller, Sarah and Sebastian, custom make modern bracelets and necklaces. And you can personalise it. Choose your own birthstone, initial and symbol for a bracelet or necklace. They also make a great 18th Birthday gift.
Experiences
There reaches a time when they have enough stuff, so I’ve started to include some experience gifts:
Concert tickets - Sabrina Carpenter and Halsey are touring next year.
Gym membership - keep them moving once they’ve left school with a membership to a local gym.
A voucher to the local Nail Salon - their dogs (toes) need to look good for summer and acrylic nails are “essential” now that school’s out.
A 12 month subscription to Spotify
A subscription to data storage from Apple (for 1000’s of photos)
A subscription to a local book shop - they’ll send a book each month to your teen based on the genres they like. (Ok, my teenagers don’t actually want this - but it’s what I really wanted when I was a teenager!)
If these ideas helped you, please tag a friend or send the link to someone with a teen. Thank you and Merry Christmas.
